Vacuum distillation
Learn how each method affects botanical expression, purity, and complexity.
Deep dive into juniper and beyond—citrus, spice, floral, herbal, earthy, and exotic botanicals. Discover how maceration, steeping, layering, and dosage timing impact flavor.
Explore the art of dilution, resting, chill-filtration, and bottle proofing. Learn how final tweaks affect mouthfeel, clarity, and stability.
Identify and compare classic and contemporary styles:
London Dry
Distilled Gin
Plymouth
Old Tom
Navy Strength
New Western / Botanical-led
Barrel-Aged & Flavored Gin
Including global interpretations from the UK, US, Japan, Scandinavia, and beyond.
Master presentation: tonic selection, garnishes, ideal glassware, and temperature. Explore gin’s role in iconic cocktails like the Martini, Negroni, and Tom Collins, plus modern signature serves.
This is more than a G&T crash course. Explore 12 hand-picked gins that reveal the full spectrum of styles, botanicals, and distillation techniques that define the modern gin world. From bone-dry classics to bold new-school botanicals, this lineup is designed to educate your palate and elevate your gin IQ.
Bartenders, spirits reps, mixologists, retail staff, and anyone who thinks gin is more than just “something with tonic.” Whether you're just starting your journey or already shaking up martinis, this course is for those who want to understand gin from root to glass—from juniper basics to barrel-aged complexity. No prior knowledge required—just curiosity, a love for botanicals, and a thirst for real insight.
The exam takes place in the last session of the course. The exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. To pass you must correctly answer 70% of the questions.
